Ralphie's Roundup-Prairie and South Middle Schools

SORCE was proud to welcome students from Prairie and South Middle Schools for Ralphie's Roundup. Check out photos from the tour, panel discussion, and football game where the students rallied the Buffs to a 28-24 win over Iowa State!

Closing the Divide-FREE Computer Workshop, 11/12

























The Digital Divide continues to affect many underrepresented communities. In an effort to close the gap, SORCE Webmaster Jerome Jackson and John Sharza will begin a FREE basic computer skills workshop series. Learn how to make a short animated movie using Adobe Flash, or make a simple flyer using Microsoft Publisher. Join us, WEDNESDAY, November 12th at 5:30pm in ATLAS 1B25 (Basement Level). Space is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Fall Retreat


Wow! We had a blast on our fall retreat. We connected with the CU Rec Center Staff and completed the High Ropes Course as a team. It was challenging of course but in the end we all worked together and had fun. Click here to check out our photos.

Anyone and Everyone Film and Discussion

ANYONE AND EVERYONE
A documentary about gay people and their families

Connected by having a son or daughter who is gay, parents across the country discuss their experiences in the documentary Anyone and Everyone. In it, filmmaker Susan Polis Schutz, depicts families from all walks of life. Individuals from such diverse backgrounds as Japanese, Bolivian, and Cherokee, as well as from various religious denominations such as Mormon, Jewish, Roman Catholic, Hindu, and Southern Baptist, share intimate accounts of how their children revealed their sexual orientation and discuss their responses.

Did you hear the buzz?

Did you hear? SORCE has not one, but TWO new Logos! Recently we held a logo contest and we are proud to announce our winners. We will be using Robert Clinton Bradley's entry as our primary logo and Brian "Musa" Cunningham's entry for our new t-shirts and hoodies. Both gentlemen received the new iPod Nano as their prize.
